چکیده

Abstract Recent researches indicate the key role of circRNA in gastric cancer (GC) progression. However, circ_0026359 GC progression remains unclear. This study aims to analyze development and underlying mechanism. The results showed that compared with controls, tissues cells displayed high HOXA9 expression, low miR-140-3p expression. Depletion repressed cell proliferation, migration, invasion glycolysis, induced apoptosis. Circ_0026359 knockdown inhibited neoplasm growth vivo. Under-expression miR-140-3p, a target miRNA circ_0026359, relieved effects on Additionally, was regulated by circ_0026359/miR-140-3p axis. Thus, absence miR-140-3p/HOXA9 pathway, which provided an effective therapeutic for GC.

miR-15a-3p and miR-16-1-3p Negatively Regulate Twist1 to Repress Gastric Cancer Cell Invasion and Metastasis

MicroRNAs are a novel class of gene regulators that function as oncogenes or tumor suppressors. In our current study, we investigated the role of miR-15a-3p and miR-16-1-3p in the regulation of Twist1 expression and EMT process. Our bioinformatics analysis suggested that on the 3' UTR of Twist1, there are two conserved miRNA recognition sites for miR-15a-3p and miR-16-1-3p respectively. Interes...

miR-338-3p suppresses gastric cancer progression through a PTEN-AKT axis by targeting P-REX2a.

UNLABELLED Results from recent studies suggest that aberrant microRNA expression is common in numerous cancers. Although miR-338-3p has been implicated in hepatocellular carcinoma, its role in gastric cancer is unknown. To this end, we report that miR-338-3p is downregulated in both gastric cancer tissue and cell lines. Forced expression of miR-338-3p inhibited cell proliferation and clonogenic...

Circulating MiR-16-5p and MiR-19b-3p as Two Novel Potential Biomarkers to Indicate Progression of Gastric Cancer

Gastric cancer (GC) is the second most common cancer in China and the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the world. Identifying circulating biomarkers is helpful to improve theranostics of gastric cancer. Herein, we are for the first time to report miR-16-5p and miR-19b-3p were identified to be the novel potential plasma biomarkers to detect gastric cancer. Differentially expressed...

Tumor Suppressor Role of miR-363-3p in Gastric Cancer

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer (GC) is the most common cancer in the world. Despite the advancement of the treatment of GC, the 5-year overall survival rate is still very low. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play important roles in the pathogenesis of GC. A recent study suggested that miR-363-3p plays a role in the development of GC. However, the function of miR-363-3p in GC is not fully understood. MATERIAL AND...

HOTAIR Induces the Downregulation of miR-200 Family Members in Gastric Cancer Cell Lines

Background: Gastric cancer (GC) is the fourth most common human malignancy and the second reason for cancer morbidity worldwide. Long noncoding RNA (LncRNA) HOX transcript antisense RNA (HOTAIR) has recently emerged as a promoter of metastasis in various cancer types, including GC, through the epithelial‑mesenchymal transition (EMT) process. However, the exact mechanism of HOTAIR in promoting E...
